I think the blokes bit of a plonker. I will say though that Sonys first year was pretty bad. The online side of things should have been there ( as promised) day one. It should have also been easier to program allowing games to come to it quicker and the entry price point was misjudged. And i think it was the sony playstation name that got them the sales that year cause lets face it if had been microsoft they would be dead out of the race by now.

Reason they annoy me is i have 3 people in my household who use the ps3 and so i can't delete there games can i?? It all takes space. I f i wanted installs i would have brought a pc and also i could install games on my original xbox (it was chipped) and i never used it.. you know why ? cause its a console not a fricken pc.
So know i wont be using installs on the 360 because space is at a premium and the benifit isnt really that much. But at least its an option for those who want it. Un...
Have to say i brought my ps3 day one and it hasn't had as much use so far as my 360.
I love the machine and the blueray etc but it has been lacking on games. There have been some good ones ive enjoyed like uncharted and the great MGS4 and motorstorm was good fun but other games i like are multi format which i have brought for the 360 due to the easier live play and my the majority of my friends are on live.
The future looks good though with some interesting titles coming up and ...
Mass Effect is my favorite game so far this generation and belive me ive played most of em. As for the bugs... well the pop in textures, yeah ill give you that but i had no sound, freezes or anything else and the game was so good that the texture thing didn't bother me. It was only at the start of a load for like a second anyway.
The only down side to it is that it made all the other rpgs like f.fantasy which i used to love look old fashioned and dull.

This ps3 installs are crap. I hate them, having to install bioshock wtf... stuck it in the tray on 360 and bam was playing... why can't my ps3 do this? hate these things as running out of space on my drive. Just utter utter crap.
I wish they wouldn't show so much in a way as it feels like ive already played it, same goes for other games. Kinda ruins it.
I loved the movie, and i would recomend the directors other work nightwatch and daywatch but the game will probably be complete garbage like all movie tie ins.
I think the game looks great but it's not my type of game really. Looks to much like hard work creating levels, if i wanted to make games i would be, i wanna play em though.
Ive had construction kits on other games and to get something really good takes ages. Levels in actual games are testing for months and developed by pros, i have a feeling we are just going to end up with a lot of crappy home made stuff.

I thought the first one was great. One of my favorite games of all time but i didn't like 2 and 3 so much. Number 3 could have been so much better but it was like a last gen game with better graphics. It was still a good game but i was expecting more.
The magic of Halo1 seems to have been lost in the latter games.
Im sure its going to be great. I just wish i could use a 360 controller with it as i find the ps one a bit awkward for fps. The game looks very good though.
Yeah frien of mine brought a 360 today. He was holding out waiting for FF13 on ps3 but figured he might as well get a 360 now. 1 less sale right there.
Well considering they sold 20million in half the time it took for the original to do it thats a gain isnt it? Most original xbox sales were done in its last year when it was dirt cheap so they will probably do pretty well this gen.

But most original xbox's were sold in the last two year of its life. Oringinal xbox sales were at around 10million at this point so there definatly making improvements.

Judging by the sales of GTA4 on the 360 you can bet your bottom dollar everything rockstar will do from now on is multi-format. Theres no way there going to turn down the console there selling the most games on.
I had a chipped original xbox that i could do this on. A whole dvd game took around 10mins to install, most games then were around 3gigs. So but 20 mins i'd say.
Well they had there biggest game so far out. I would be surprised if they didn't, actually i thought they would sell more PS3's that month. Figures will go back to normal next month.

It seems as though E3 is all about pleasing the masses and Microsoft's X days, Sonys game day and Lipzig are for the hardcore gamers.
E3 is a pale imitation of its yester-years, hell microsoft didn't even show the 360 there first, they did it on MTV.
